2013 June 14

The event

Convention Cross-Media.
The third edition is organized
in association with
Imaginove and CITIA.

8 projects (including 4 foreign films) have been selected and will be pitched during the next Global Media Connect on Friday 14 June during the MIFA in Annecy.

The selection committee members included France Télévision, Catherine Cuenca (SACD), Jean-François Gervais (INA), Gaetano Stucchi, (Romain Gandia (ESC Chambéry Savoie), Géraldine Baché (CITIA ) and Tanguy Selo (Imaginove).

This is a genuine springboard for the development of Transmedia projects, and once again the partners have come together in honour of this event, which is essential for discovering the latest gems in the Transmedia world. Numerous prizes are awarded for the best projects. Why not take a look at them here!

Moreover, this year Imaginove has joined forces with the TIU (Transmedia Immersive University) to offer project creators a course on making the perfect pitch, thus maximising their chances of impressing the jury!

We would like to applaud the investment of these professionals and their support of the project creators during GMCmifa 2012

The aim:
To bring together studios from all areas of the industry (animation, video games, web etc.) as well as buyers (broadcasters, video game and website publishers etc.) thereby making this convention a unique opportunity to present cross-media projects and meet potential partners

Tanguy Selo,
CEO of Imaginove:

“To develop synergies between the different actors of content production (TV, cinema, video games, multimedia, animation, display), to anticipate uses and encourage innovation in terms of content’, this has been Imaginove’s credo from the start. Global Media Connect meets this objective perfectly by promoting projects with more elaborate narratives that correspond to the many possibilities of screen media available to content creators today.

We are aiming for a form of cultural convergence that will enable content producers to access new forms of funding for their creations. Transmedia or cross-media we must enable these projects to develop and be presented at the events and markets supported by Imaginove both in France and abroad!”.
